Ski weekend in Lavin

I am happy to announce that the photos of the latest Lavin ski weekend are now online.

Apart from this blog entry, which shows only a sample of the nice weather we had, I've put together a gallery at the usual place (The stoop.net gallery) unveiling the perfect meteorologic conditions we had throughout the whole week.

As a special goodie for those snobs of you having broadband access, try this slideshow (yagr, that was a hell lot of work).

No snow...?

... there you go!

Hey, well done! There are some really good pictures! I have to remember, 16:9 looks much better than 4:3...

The sound of the slideshow is cool as well :-).

Remains only to say: Thanks a lot for the weekend!

@Ueli: Indeed, 16:9 is considered more ergonomic, which is probably why we find it better looking than pictures in other formats. Besides, it reminds us of (at least visually) high-quality Hollywood movies - and, hey, it *must* be kewl then, right?

By the way: You're welcome in Lavin at any time. Hope you didn't feel too abused by doing the washing-up all the time...

Yeah, it looks much more professional.

Thanks for the offer. I would be glad to come to Lavin again. I really liked it. Don't worry about the washing-up. I rather have a bad conscience for helping so little than feel abused...

No need to worry about, ueli. I hate doing the dishes and it was a relief to see someone else taking care of it :-)

Before I forget, there's this thing called snow'n'rail (http://www.railaway.ch/). Seems to be a reduced train ticket from Zurich to Scuol & back, including a two day ski pass. You can get it with a Halbtax for 96.-. In other words, you get free transportation. I think that's quite cute a thing.

Yeah, 96.- is really not bad. I mean, it's nearly the same price as with a GA (90.-)...

It has a catch, though: You have to return on the third day for it to remain valid as a return ticket. But it seems perfectly suited for weekends and for Manuel (who forgot the ski sticks in Lavin) :-)
