Thanks! I knew you would be a kind man. I hope it won't be bothering you too much. Actually I want to know the English pronunciation for the name and I think you are the expert on the matter(your English is perfect!). Though the book is about a Bugarian evangelical pastor, it is written in English. Speaking of the book, may I add one more name to the list? It is "Mitko." Pronunciation mystery for me in "Tsonny" is "Ts"part and for "Mitko" it's "tko"part. And If you have Bulgarian friends, would they mind helping me tho read properly "Dershava Sigornost"-the Secret Police?
I am such a big asker, ain't I? God bless you! ^-^;;

Hi there. Neither am I a native Bulgarian nor do I speak Bulgarian very well. But I got my connections... I found out the following:
???????? ?????????
\d?r?avna sig?rn?st\
Dershavna Sigornost
?????
\mitk?\
Mitko
?????
\ts?nj?\
Tsonjo
If you got problems reading the IPA signs, have a look at
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_de...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPA_char...
(The german Wiki provides audio samples of the right pronunciation. If you don't feel familiar with German: Just find the right IPA-letter in the chart and click on the '?'...)
Hope that helps any big asker.

Hi cumulus,
What a coincidence, indeed! Thanks for your comment, I'm glad if I can help you! First things first: My nickname was "invented" by my little brother some years ago and we are both neither Bulgarians nor do we have any idea of how a Bulgarian would pronounce it - we can only tell you how a Swiss would, in case you're interested :-) But I know some people who speak Bulgarian and I'll ask them to post their reply to this blog, okay?
